Center Student Voice & Thinking to Make Change
Recording:
Center Student Voice & Thinking to Make Change, Date TBA
Students can talk – and want to talk – about philosophical ideas that adults often discuss: What is fairness? Who has power? How is change made? They overhear the news, and their adults talking. They want to engage – we, as teachers, just have to create the space. Let’s reframe the classroom as a collaborative workshop which centers student thought. In this brave space, students develop the skills to consider other perspectives, to listen to each other and cultivate their own voice.
