Exercising Emotions: Why SEL Must Be Physical
We are living more in our heads than ever before. In an effort to handle the overwhelming stimuli we face on a daily basis, we’ve doubled down on mental health supports. But we continue to strip our minds from our bodies, and we’re losing our physical connection to humanity in the process. We must ground ourselves in our bodies, rather than making our minds larger than life. The answer to effective SEL is actually physical.
