The NPR Student Podcast Challenge

In its three years, more than 50,000 students from all fifty states have participated in the NPR Student Podcast Challenge. Even in the pandemic, teachers have found that its a fun and exciting way to engage their students in project-based learning, and to help them develop new ways of writing and telling stories. In this session, NPR journalists will talk about how teachers and students can participate, and the support available to help teachers turn their classrooms into recording studios.

Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
