Our government is the backbone of our democracy and our most powerful tool to address big problems, whether a pandemic, climate-driven natural disasters, or economic inequities. To serve the American public effectively, we need government at its best and good government starts with good people. With roughly 7% of today’s federal workforce under the age of 30, our government must do more to recruit the next generation of public servants.
