Is College Ready for Your 60-year Career?

A 25-year-old in the U.S. today is likely to retire at 85. Our ageist higher ed system isn’t ready for a 60-year working life. Tech-enhanced, age- and ability-inclusive lifelong learning is the future. We can no longer tie education to age. Learning in all forms: diplomas and degrees, certificates, bootcamps and job training, must happen on a continuum – a 60-Year Curriculum. It is transformative. We must reschool and retool curricula, technology, funding and policies, and our overall approach.
