Data interoperability and protecting student data privacy are critical considerations for EdTech companies, but the legal and technical landscape around both topics is complex. In this hands-on workshop, startups and early stage EdTech companies will learn how to incorporate data interoperability standards and privacy protections during the development process. They’ll also learn about recently updated federal and state privacy laws, how they overlap, and where to find legal guidance.
