Ash Kaluarachchi has advised and built partnerships for organizations solving problems in education for 15 + years. As an entrepreneur and advocate for budding entrepreneurs he has advised, launched and operated multiple edtech accelerators, including for Techstars, the #1 startup accelerator and mentorship-driven seed stage investment fund in the world. To date, these accelerators have funded more than 100 companies in partnership with organizations such as Kaplan, Intel, and New York University.
He continues to provide support for founders solving problems for educators, administrators and learners in pre-K, K-12, HigherEd, Corporate learning and consumer as Co-founder at StartEd (www.started.com), which provides up access to funding, intensive mentorship, and a network of mentors and investors. He is also the Producer of EDTECH WEEK (www.edtechweek.com), a global education innovation festival hosted by Catalyst @ Penn GSE for global education leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, and educations.
Ash has an MBA with a focus on entrepreneurship from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and economics from Grinnell University.
