Rethinking Digital Citizenship in Schools

Digital citizenship in schools and universities in the US has been defined by an overwhelmingly negative approach (teaching all of the things NOT to do as opposed to the things TO do with technology). This outdated approach doesn't prepare students for success in a digital world. We will discuss a new approach - focusing on practicing skills of digital citizenship. We will share practical examples the new book Digital for Good: Raising Kids to Thrive in an Online World.
