U Good Sis? Black Women Surviving Return to Campus

COVID-19 continues to highlight systemic issues across college campuses. Black women in higher education are not alright. Universities must commit institutional resources to build true equity. Black women don’t want to go “back to normal.” For our safety and sanity, we deserve a better classroom and office environment. This panel will discuss: community groups for diverse students and staff, DEI programs that dismantle both racism and sexism, and culturally competent mental health services.
