The Intersection of Informal & Formal Learning

Mar 7, 2022

2:00pm – 3:00pm CT

Recording: The Intersection of Informal & Formal Learning, Mar 7, 2022

Research says students should explore careers as early as middle school to inform post-secondary education choices. But, are our school systems providing equitable access to career-connected learning for all 6-12 grades? Not yet. Learn how one district reinvented itself with a whole school/whole community approach to prepare students for the World of Work. Also, hear how two companies are helping students explore themselves and future careers through informal, digital learning solutions.

Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
