The Morton Arboretum hosts a living exhibition called the Gateway to Tree Science, demonstrating best practices in urban tree care backed by current research. Their challenge was to make the exhibition accessible to audiences beyond core visitors, including students exploring careers. We teamed up to produce Canopy Career Chronicles, digital graphic novels based on the career paths of Arboretum scientists. This talk reviews the creative process and distribution to under-resourced communities.
