The Power of Data & its Limits

Mar 7, 2022

2:00pm – 3:00pm CT

Recording: The Power of Data & its Limits, Mar 7, 2022

This session will discuss what we can (and cannot) learn from data. The session will have four key lessons to take away, about the role of data in our decision-making and how we can use it productively (and not mis-use it!). Examples will be drawn from everyday life, and will connect to both education and, in many cases, the COVID-19 pandemic. Among the learning goals is to convey how this type of data-literacy might be conveyed in a K-12 classroom.

Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
