Gaby López
Gabriela López serves as Director of Research to Practice Measures at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. In this role, Gabriela sets strategic direction for measures development work. She partners with grantees and other funders in the development of practical and meaningful measures and assessments that positively support youth. Over her 28 year career, Gabriela has led diverse teams in the delivery of high quality services to children, families, and teachers.
Previously Gabriela served as the Director of Early Care and Education Program Quality Assessment and Equity Implementation at the Center for Child and Family Studies at WestEd.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and candidate in the Master of Arts in Applied Anthropology from California State University, Long Beach.
