Holly Engleman
Holly Engleman has over 25 years of experience as a teacher, trainer and principal. Holly graduated from Texas State and began teaching Reading and Language Arts in AISD and RRISD. She was a Project Read Trainer, Department Head, on the District Leadership Technology Team and was named Teacher of the year. After discovering the extensive needs of her students she became very dedicated to researching and implementing effective strategies for students who were at-risk and struggling learners. Holly returned to Texas State to pursue a master’s degree in Educational Administration. She became a principal in 2003 when she was hired at The University of Texas-University Charter School. In 2016 Holly received the Champions for Children award presented by Helping Hand Home for children. She is currently an Executive Principal for the UT Charter School system and supervises 5 campuses.
