How Trauma Informed Schools Develop Learners

Many successful teachers and programs use trauma-informed practices to reach students in crisis and enhance their learning. Through this approach the whole child is nurtured and educated, trust is built, and academic gaps can begin to close. We will explore the "how" and "why" of trauma-informed classrooms with a panel of experienced educators, administrators and program directors enabling you to set your students up for success, no matter their background.

Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
