Tenicka Boyd
Tenicka Boyd is the Senior Advisor to the President at Color Of Change, where she helps guide organizational strategy and decision-making and serves as a thought partner to Rashad Robinson.
Before joining Color of Change, Tenicka was the National Director of the Leaders of Color Initiative, where she recruited and trained Black and Latino people seeking public office. Prior to that, Tenicka led a million-person organizing effort that led to sweeping reforms across the state of New York. She spent time in the Obama Administration where she worked on domestic policy issues including education, faith-based partnerships, and ending homelessness. She was also an organizer for the 2008 Obama campaign in several primary states. She is a PICO- and IAF-trained organizer, and spent years doing community organizing around housing and criminal justice reform.
