Nobody is exempt from white supremacy and the baggage it comes with. Over centuries it has burrowed deep inside of our education systems, our leadership, and our worldview. To uproot it, we must bring Black and Brown people together to harness our talents and cultivate a space where true justice is the standard. As Black and Brown people, we must stop being divided. We must have an internal dialogue, and build Black and Brown coalition to improve educational outcomes for ALL children. That starts with us sharing what education looks like for our children when both our ancient and future selves are centered.
