Aggie ACHIEVE

Dr. Olivia Robinson serves as the Program Director for Aggie ACHIEVE (Academic Courses in Higher Inclusive Education and Vocational Experiences). Aggie ACHIEVE is Texas’ first four-year postsecondary transition program for young adults with intellectual and development disabilities at Texas A&M University. Aggie ACHIEVE is designed to assist individuals with disabilities in accessing higher education, independent living, and competitive employment. Dr. Robinson is working on building an inclusive environment on a large university campus.
Dr. Robinson received her Ph.D. in Special Education from The University of Alabama. Her research interests involve exploring the social justice issues of access and participation of adults with significant intellectual disabilities in the community, postsecondary education, and employment. She is also interested in the use of evidence-based strategies in supporting youth with intellectual disabilities.
