Glenn Cantave
Glenn Cantave is an activist, performance artist and social entrepreneur who uses immersive technology to highlight the narratives of the oppressed. He leads Movers & Shakers an education nonprofit based in NYC. They recently won the Verizon 5G Ed Tech Challenge, where they are creating an AR workbook that teaches middle school english students about underrepresented icons. He is a TED Resident, artist in resident at Eyebeam and member at NEW INC an arts/tech incubator supported by the New Museum. His TED talk ‘How Augmented Reality is Changing Activism’ was featured on the homepage of TED.com in July. The team is eagerly anticipating an upcoming feature on Forbes.com in August.
