For Us by Us: Community Created Education Policy
For decades education reforms have been done to community instead of with community. Policy makers, researchers and advocates have come up with ideas to expand opportunity and access to quality public schools with little input from those with the least influence, but most at stake. This panel will use interactive strategies to provide tangible solutions and a call to action for education policy at the local, state and federal level being created and informed by directly impacted communities.
