How Improvisation Empowers Diverse Learners
This interactive performance will teach simple and intuitive techniques for using musical improvisation to support the learning of students who struggle with language-based learning differences, executive function disabilities, or processing delays. We will explore how improvisation can open doors to renewed creative expression and improved cognitive and emotional well-being. Participants will improvise together while learning about the neurologic intersections between music and language.
