With over 2.1 million active duty, national guard and reservists accumulating new training and education daily, the armed forces of the United States are the largest education and training provider in the world. But of the 200,000 or so service members who transition to the civilian community each year, it's estimated that only one in four leave service with a recognized credential which leads to increased underemployment for veterans.
