The Future School was created to increase equity in education by meeting the needs of underserved, marginalized, and disconnected youth through a personalized curriculum, access to innovative technology, and mentorship that creates a school-to-career pipeline that builds social capital within hip hop culture and the creative industries. This session will highlight the challenges, achievements, and design thinking strategy behind the development of the first online hip hop school set to launch in 2020.
