Equal parts teachers, hip-hop heads, authors, and professors, Dr. Chris Emdin and Sam Seidel are bringing the old school DJ battle to SXSW EDU. Replacing turntable decks with slide decks, they will invite special guests and participants into an improvisational multimedia dialogue through which they will share their experiences and observations on the purpose and potential of education informed by hip-hop culture, scholarship, and their work with students and educators all over the world.
