Creating Science Solutionaries for Climate Change

Children in schools that are struggling, urban, and poor have a science experience gap. Makerspaces help learners explore physics, biology, environmental science, chemistry, and math concepts via real world projects. Students then problem solve for global climate change—whose negative effects are worse felt by marginal bodies. We will explore projects, curriculum design, and student survey responses.
