Social Emotional Learning Should Be Like Fluoride

Everyone wants more Social Emotional Learning, but schools struggle to add one more thing to the packed academic day. That’s why SEL should be like “fluoride in the water”—infused into core subjects. This panel will look at how SEL can be woven elegantly into math and ELA classes. District leaders will discuss how they have used cutting-edge curricula to embed SEL into core subjects, bringing empathy, debate, communication, collaboration, and citizenship into the academic day.
