Building a School on a Foundation of Neuroscience

The Valley Day School (VDS) has become a regional leader in alternative education by creating a design that implements neuro-educational research in all areas of school operation. By blending an organizational model and an instructional model tethered to neuroscience, VDS created a system that can be replicated in other educational settings. Attendees will gain an understanding of the models and how to successfully apply brain-based practices, while supporting instructional technologies.
