Mindfulness is catching on in the classroom, but it's also a natural fit in the world of student athletics. Sports is 80% mental and 20% physical, but tools are rarely imparted on players for how to develop mental strength. Mindfulness is mental strength training. It also provides real-life skills that are transferrable to life after ball. This session will feature student athletes, a coach & a mindfulness specialist from Austin to discuss the impact mindfulness is having on their programs.
