Recording: Classrooms & Beyond: Empowering Student Voices, Mar 4, 2019

In the #MeToo era, stories of online harassment and exploitation abound. Social media is a critical context, yet most efforts to promote youth safety are deficit-oriented and fear-based. Learn how we leverage the Nest Right To Healthy Relationships Program, a novel, media-driven, and strengths-based high school initiative. Grounded in the power of sociopolitical education to manifest change, we demonstrate the potential of centering youth rights and voices to counter dominant narratives.
