Eleanor Bailey is a first year student at Connecticut College, a liberal arts college in beautiful New London, Connecticut. As a House Senator for her dorm, Eleanor is an active member of her school's Student Government Association. Before moving to Connecticut, Eleanor was student at the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders in Austin, Texas. As a sophomore, she participated in the Nest Curriculum, aimed at preventing sexual exploitation and trafficking, and was trained in navigating the legislative process by Deeds Not Words. Following these experiences, Eleanor went on to help construct and pass Texas Senate Bill 2039 to require Texas public schools to institute child sex trafficking prevention education while still in high school.
