Students deserve to be heard by peers, teachers, administrators, and policy makers. Last year, we spoke about mindfulness at SXSW EDU. This year, those same student panelists decided the topics to discuss, and the HS student will co-moderate the panel. The theme of all their individually chosen topics is: Feeling Safe & Comfortable in School. This panel consisting of 3 students (elementary, middle & high school) will discuss play, student choice, test anxiety, gun violence, and social skills.
