Each year, high school students endure the exciting but stressful process of awaiting admissions and financial aid decisions of their preferred colleges. But many who did everything asked of them will soon realize their high schools didn't prepare them for college success. They'll suffer, and even with support structures, many won't earn a degree. A small group of colleges and universities are working together to eradicate this misalignment of expectations and build OnRamps to college readiness.
