Executives from Scholastic and Major League Baseball Foundation present on their 23-year partnership to support SEL. The goal is to increase students' confidence in their ability to overcome personal challenges. The lessons center on a historical look at the changing landscape of baseball during the civil rights movement and Jackie Robinson's success in breaking the sport's racial barrier. The program includes pre- and post-assessments as well as a student essay contest with valuable prizes.
