In Personal Statement, three seniors are working as college counselors because their high schools, like so many schools across the U.S., don’t have enough college counseling support. These three inspirational students have chosen to do something about this problem, by becoming the very resource they don’t have for themselves. They struggle and they stumble, but refuse to succumb to the barriers that prevent so many low-income students from going to college.
