Excellence Gaps: Where Equity & Excellence Meet
The American K-12 education system traditionally sees equity and excellence as distinct goals, and often mutually exclusive ones at that. The concept of excellence gaps is designed to help educators and advocates understand the complex interaction between equity and excellence and identify strategies for closing these gaps.
