The Messy Living Room of Racism: Time to Clean Up

Left alone in a living room, kids can create an impressive mess. But when asked to clean up they reply with, “I didn’t do it!” That’s the situation we’re in with institutional racism. There’s a mess and no one's responsible. Let’s stop asking who did it and start cleaning it up– together. Interrupting racism is impossible in a climate of defensiveness and blame. In this session, participants will learn new ways to think about racism so they can create initiatives that inspire collective action.
