Parents & Curriculum: Bringing Education Home
There are common roadblocks that hinder parent involvement in education. Parents are intimidated by the "professional" and are not given enough credit for being the child’s first and best teacher. As a result, we see parents demanding too much of the teacher and not enough of themselves. Once parents grasp the role they play, it can be difficult to incorporate appropriate education at home. I want to offer practical solutions that empower parents to bring education home.
