Teaching the New Majority-Minority Generation

As a nation, we are seeing a majority-minority shift across our public schools. With this transformation, educators are addressing both old and new challenges: how to educate children from different backgrounds—urban, rural, and suburban; how to teach students who speak languages as diverse as Spanish, Arabic, and Mandarin; and how to provide the conditions that lead to equitable learning. Our panel will discuss these questions and the solutions that can support students and educators.
