Push: First-year Students as Agents of Change
Push, a unified approach to learning at The University of Texas that empowers entering students to become agents of change in improving the quality of education, creates strategic practice opportunities for students to make small changes in their own behavior as learners that lead to large changes in their educational experiences. Rather than adopting a passive role in learning, as many have experienced in high school, students are taught to initiate behavior that is known to improve learning.
