Summary

#EEforAll

In just one year New York City went from serving a fraction of the city’s 4 year olds to serving nearly all of the 70,000 across the city. The undertaking in New York is the largest implementation of universal Pre-K in the world. One year later we are focused on universal literacy by grade 2, and computer science for all students. But the road to equity isn’t always smooth. Meet us at the intersection of politics, policy, equity and excellence. Come hear NYC Schools Chancellor Carmen Farina and Chief Operating Officer Ursulina Ramirez in conversation about how NYC got where it is, lessons learned, and why it matters to public school systems across the country and around the world.
