Summary

Yes, the term "fake news" is over-used and misleading, but that doesn't mean it's not a critical issue facing our democracy and society. We'll use SXSWedu as an opportunity to bring together local Student Reporting Labs journalists and educators for an informal conversation about how kids experienced news this election, how they consume information and how learning to produce news videos has made them better able to navigate our increasingly complicated and treacherous information landscape.
