Summary

#SciRefugee

You all know this story. Student meets science at College. They fall in love and vow never to leave each other. Then college ends, and they find out that 80% of STEM degrees end in divorce. Years of dedication and commitment wasted. Or were they? Science-loving students must be prepared for the reality that they'll probably get a job outside the STEM world. How can educators best prepare them for this reality? Three scientists-turned-communicators share how the power of story is transforming the careers of scientists and science refugees at NASA, ANU & Yale.
