Summary

The classroom as we know it has ceased to exist. In its place - a network of interconnected physical and virtual spaces has emerged, with each piece an integral part of the post-classroom. Many educators are embracing blended learning environments and flipped classrooms in order to provide a more student-centered approach to learning. This session focuses on how educators can create classrooms that don't get locked after 3 P.M. Cloud classrooms can be created easily and efficiently using websites and apps like Dropbox, Evernote, Ustream, and iTunes U, and will be the norm rather than the exception in a few short years (or a few even shorter months). The future of education lies beyond the four walls of the classroom. The 21st century requires a new approach to pedagogy, and content delivery is being shaped by the way today's student absorbs information. Cloud classrooms are the next logical step in the evolution of education, and will be the dominant mode of educational communication.
