What’s Really Taught in Sex Ed & How Do We Fight for It?

This interactive workshop will break down misconceptions about sex education and illuminate what today’s sex ed is actually about, including how it improves youth mental and social health and wellbeing and advances equity and justice. You’ll reflect on how access to better sex ed can improve your school environment and students’ overall health and well-being. It will also dive into political attacks on sex education, who’s behind them, and what we all can do about it. You’ll be able to plan for and practice advocating for better sex ed in your school or community to make real positive change
