The Wage Gap for Women Starts with Student Debt, Date TBA
It’s rosy for women on campus – until they step foot in the workplace. While women make up the majority of college students today (60%), they hold 2/3 of all US student debt and statistically only make 74% of what men earn after graduation. Women immediately face setbacks in paying back loans, while saving & investing for the future. The first step in solving the lifelong financial wellness gap is taking control of the college debt crisis, so women are set up for success beyond higher ed.
