Zoe Jenkins

Zoë Jenkins is a 21-year-old practicing empathy and reimagining education for democracy. She founded the Get Schooled podcast and is a Senior Advisor of the Kentucky Student Voice Team. She has worked with Stanford University and The Nobel Prize and has been featured in The Washington Post and NPR’s All Things Considered. Zoë was also selected as a National Geographic Young Explorer for her work in expanding storytelling among Kentucky’s least-heard students. She is a Youth Service Fellow with The Allstate Foundation and the Center for Expanding Leadership Opportunity. Zoë is studying Youth and Social Innovation and Political and Social Thought at the University of Virginia. After graduating, she will join Civics Unplugged as their Director of Recruitment and Trust.
