Dylan George
Dylan George is a senior at The Hockaday School in Dallas, Texas and is a proud Gold Award Girl Scout. A lifelong actor and performing artist, Dylan is interested in the intersection of neuroscience, psychology, and the arts. For her Gold Award project, she partnered with Mosaic Family Services to develop a social emotional learning curriculum grounded in the arts for children who have experienced domestic trauma. With the help of volunteers, Dylan’s initiative empowered children to express themselves, build confidence, and develop important emotional skills. As a leader in TeenAge Communication Theater, Dylan educates teens in the Dallas area on mental health, sex education, dating violence, and other important topics through peer-to-peer education. Through internships with neuropsychologists, Dylan has worked with families on neuroeducational assessments and is an advocate for equitable education. Dylan will be attending Brown University in fall 2025 where she plans to double concentrate in cognitive neuroscience and theater arts.
