Mirella Rodriguez

Mirella Rodriguez has been an early childhood educator with NYC Public Schools since 2015. Her experience has spanned from two years teaching kindergarten to eight years teaching Pre-K children. She has taught Dual Language classrooms with students of a range of abilities. Ms. Rodrieguez has been highly engaged in a range of school initiatives: Civics for All, Enrichment Dance Club, and Hydroponics in the Classroom. She has demonstrated her leadership within the hydroponics work and among her peers in the PreK Grade Team and as the grade liaison for designing and communicating activities for Hispanic Heritage Month. A career highlight was a special project In Beijiing where she co-created two experimental classes and a theme-based curriculum to update traditional teaching practices.
