Demaceo Vincent Howard

I'm Demaceo (pronounced deh-may-see-oh), based in Denver, & my career journey so far has been a beautiful mosaic of chaos.

Before getting into tech, I spent years working in marine biology, environmental education, and conservation throughout North, Central, & South America. Then, at the start of 2020—unknowingly right before the world shut down—I pivoted into software engineering. Since then, I’ve worked across startups and fintech, specializing in front-end development (React, TypeScript), UI/UX design, and automation.
Most recently, I had the incredible opportunity to be part of a documentary focused on Public Interest Technology, where we traveled the country interviewing leaders who are using tech for social good. Now, I’m looking for an opportunity to blend my technical skills with my environmental and community-centered roots to build tools that make a difference.
