Zandra de Araujo

Zandra de Araujo is the Director of Mathematics at the University of Florida’s Lastinger Center for Learning. Her research focuses on teacher professional development and teaching mathematics to multilingual learners. A former math educator, Zandra has served on the boards of several prominent professional organizations, including the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators. She is the author of numerous publications, creator of the Mathematically Educated blog, and co-creator of the Two-Minute Teacher's Guide, a resource connecting teachers to education research. Zandra holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Florida, an M.Ed. from the University of Central Florida, and a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia.
